At the end of the day, after some thought and contemplation, she made the decision to quit school to start a new career in the industry of entertainment. Her debut came in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, which she was not happy with the way it turned out. To show her skills her worth, she appeared in several low-budget movies to enhance her acting. She persevered and her will power paid off. The actress received fame and positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
